I don't understand how people can disconnect themselves from what is going to affect them. It's like their survival instincts have been turned off and they are no longer able to think logically.

With the halo effect, women's misdeeds and lack of control are ignored. Any attempts to notice it and recognize it as bad because it is violence are considered the appropriate place to put all the hostility and anger that the cognitive dissonance stress from trying to excuse violent behavior goes.
I suspect that the organized sabotage of male-female relationships (from casual dating up to family formation) is very close to the root of the problems plaguing society.

Labour prices definitely do not increase with productivity, that's for sure. No incentive to be productive other than the bare minimum to avoid being fired. Small businesses are over regulated to the point of unreasonable difficulty to start and run. Only the high positions in the mega corporations, politicians, and winning the internet lotteries seem to be ways to reasonably afford a decent life.
I see many layers of deliberate sabotage leading to mass enslavement.

It's a real classic. If you can do a watch party with people, it holds up decently well in important ways. The things it does just aren't done anymore. This is when they were inventing 3d animating software as they went, and the content was dictated by whatever concepts they thought looked cool at the time. Making things because they're cool, not to fulfill some quota.

Depends on the vehicle.
Most I've seen with fobs have a regular key that works with them keyhole in the door. Some newer vehicles force you to only use the fob to unlock it. They have more computer systems in them and might have some kind of auto unlock based on proximity.

I was doing a watch-through of it the other year, but life got I'm the way and I stalled early on. Before the assassin girl episode.
It got a surge in popularity in the zeitgeist during the lockdowns, because it has a very strong sense of adventure and wide world to it, which a lot of people were hungry for.
I enjoyed what I was watching of it.

A short story of a pair of personality opposites teaming up to solve crime is not political.
A story of a serial killer targeting criminals while monologuing about how the police don't do enough to deal with criminals counts as political.
