I just saw that. Yeah... I "browse" X but I don't post. I like posts and DM those who haven't left it. And I'd be completely unoriginal to repeat that leaving X and its questionable nature of farming for clout would be better for you. But, I get it; in your position of it being a tranch in your livelihood's PR. If you're gonna go to war with opinions know that some days you're gonna have to take some R&R. And that's ok. Me? I don't have either anymore.
I never had a Myspace or a friendstr... But I did have a Geocities.

If it's fiat games we're after there are covered call strategy ETFs that outperform on yield. And in Canada you can have the Hamilton ones in your TFSA. You can't have STRC or any US dividend stocks in a TFSA without getting hit by withholding tax.

Huh? No. Not the same. No bail reform. No real immigration reform. No cutting industrial taxes. No permitting of pipelines/infrastructure. Reduced cut to personal taxes. No trade deals. And... how many days off? They are philosophically so far apart. Not cheerleading the conservatives but realistic that Canada is so far left that the CPC has to be Classic Liberal instead of whatever the hell the Libs have become (including their latest member who endorsed raging socialist Avi Lewis to lead her now former party).

Canada is creeping towards crisis. The Libs somehow got the separatist Bloc to sign off in support of their censorship bill C9. Now they got a useful idiot from the socialist NDP to cross the floor and they only need two (2) more seats for total authoritarian control. They have three byelections coming up April 13th with two of those being in Liberal "safe" ridings who do nothing but consume state sponsored propaganda and regurgitate it at State funded universities.
Why am I still here?
1) my boomer mother, whom I am responsible for.
2) not gonna lie, I kinda look forward to the challenge of evading the system. There's a fuckin' reason there are so many great bitcoiners in Canada (from education to access to cold storage) and GrapheneOS comes from here. But, 🤫, we don't want the feds to figure that out.

Because they are. So many "remixes" of 30 year old tracks. Not sure who kicked off this trend but Charlotte DeWitt at least had the knowledge and taste to do Age of Love (original is still far better but I can respect the choice) 5 years ago and now I've heard even remixes and remakes using Deadmaus tracks? Or Westbam's "Meet her at Love Parade" from the '98 Berlin Love Parade.

Unfortunately there is no greater reach for the uninitiated. Not. One. Rumble? Lolz. NOSTR? Nope. X? Not even close. When not on YT you're basically on the dark web... And, yes, that is bad.
YT simply has the better platform, reach, experience for viewers, and engagement.
I have seen, however, that many are flying under the radar by not monetizing their channel. There's some interesting stuff that veers towards "dangerous" and "violating TOS" that way.

I'm gonna call BS on some of these numbers. How often are they buying a new car? Every 3 years (avg warranty)? With no trade-in or sale?
Kids is accurate if you're paying for university but not trade school, and maybe private school beforehand. Vacation? What is that. Like a $6k/year trip?
Look, we ain't rich but we've achieved the dream at a vastly smaller number than what's shown. Oh, and we figure retirement won't be till a minimum $3M net worth.

Was just talking about this with the rest of my dual citizen family. We're Canadian & American. We vote in both. We have experience with both. It is astounding how weird the US elections are handled. In Canada ALL elections are run by Elections Canada, an independent organization. From municipal right up to federal it's all the same. 1 day, with some early voting days. Paper ballots. Pencil markings. ID required. You can register onsite on day with proof and another party that will acknowledge your right and sign for it. Never waited more than 15mins to vote. Easy peasy. Results that night. The US needs to get their shit together.

I'm gonna bet they're using Primal and haven't tried other clients. Primal is brutal for setting up wallets (many issues on email confirmation denying request) on client and won't connect to anything else (@npub1get…0nfm is still invite only... speaking of which? got any invites?)
I've used Amethyst for a while now with WoS but also have Speed Wallet and then theres @npub1v5u…n0v5. Also playing with FreeFrom. @npub12vk…pugg falters on zapping others without being able to connect. Fine for receiving. And they all have strengths and weaknesses. All these hookups show is how early we all are. But it's all getting so disjointed.
