If this is a Mac Mini, wouldn't the customer be more comfortable with a Gnome desktop? I know that KDE and Cinnamon are Windows-like for the desktop environment look and feel, while Gnome is Mac-like. This is assuming they are not trying to get away from the Mac type of user interface.

I use Mint as my daily driver, and it fits my needs. But I am aware that it is not the right distro for everyone. If Zorin is working well for you, there should be no pressure to switch to Mint just because others are using it. I went through a lot of analysis-paralysis trying to find a distro to settle on because of all options available. Go with what you are comfortable with using. Unless this is a work place where everyone has to be the same, it should not matter what distro you are on.

I thought mstdn.social was run by Mastodon gGmbH, the German company that creates and distributes the mastodon software, who also run mastodon.social and mastodon.online (and joinmastodon.org). That was a big oops in my mind on who runs the server.
