The “floof” is almost certainly Green Trick Dianthus (also sold as Green Trick Carnation or Dianthus barbatus ‘Green Trick’).

A sad situation that's creating a lot of turmoil for the area. But until the facts are out and footage is released, no one knows. I don't watch the news and what I've seen has been from social media. But it seems pretty clear that the child was not in a car seat and was in the front seat, was held up in front of the passenger holding him, and apparently the cop felt like he was in danger for his life. I think we all agree that no one should die over a bag of diapers. But if you are trying turn run over a cop, holding a child up in front of you, which some consider to have been a "human shield", then who's really to blame?

Second node had a bad ssd so I scrapped it. Within a week, I loaded @npub126n…e9ll newly released 0.4.0 on it and been slowly getting it back up and running. Have most of the services I use up and fully operational. I got to say, it's really sweet what they've done. If you haven't setup a node yet, I highly recommend them.
Could use a test zap to make sure my wallet is back up and functioning correctly if anyone is so inclined to help out. @npub1get…0nfm wallet was resurrected as well. 🤙🏻🫡

I forgot how cool @npub155m…dcvg is. If you didn't know, when you run a BTCPayserver, you can create custom lightning addresses on the fly and the address store dependent. So each store you create can have its on lightning address. I'm changing my tip wallet address and see how well it works. Test it out if you feel the need.

You’re probably right, 25% is a little aggressive. But I was coming from the angle that there’s not gonna be a big influx of transactions right away so 25% will not be that much for the overall transactions a merchant will have.

It hopefully gets better. But I tried 3 family members a few months back and none could sign up. I contacted support on 2 of them and got it working. Because it worked for me out the gate, I assumed it would for everyone else but that was not the case. I still offer a 5% discount and to help people get setup with Cashapp to pay with bitcoin. I believe in what they are doing and want it to succeed. I want to see all the cc companies burn to the ground. 😂

But the normie nonbitcoin crowd will need to use Cashapp to “pay with bitcoin.” Cashapp has a really cool feature where you send cash, they receive cash or bitcoin via the Bitcoin rails. If your not into bitcoin, your not gonna be able to do it any other way. Don’t get me wrong, I like what their doing and I’ve been selling what their doing since November. But they still have pain points for normies to get setup and if the normie has no reason to do it’s they won’t take the time to get it setup.

The merchants have been incentivized, now they have to incentivize their customers. I’m afraid customers have gotten use to the idea that they have to pay the fee to transact with a credit card, that the merchants don’t care anymore. I hate being told I have to pay 2% more (or whatever they want to charge) for the convenience of not using cash.
I’ve been offering a 5% discount for people to pay in bitcoin and promoted Cashapp as my payment of choice since January but still haven’t gotten a payment in bitcoin. I’ve had inquiries and conversations, but that’s it.

Probably turns out to be a nothingburger….but I’m excited about the idea. For the non-bitcoin crowd, it still falls back to a CashApp to Square transaction. They should also make all CashApp transactions run over Bitcoin rails and auto convert 75% to fiat and make the merchant change other 25% to fiat if they don’t Bitcoin like they are making the merchant turn off Bitcoin acceptance instead of allowing them to turn it on.

Awesome Diyana, I’ve been doing the same thing. I’m thinking the BTCMap is an automatic add but could be wrong. I added myself to BitLocal
Map and was simultaneously added to the Cash App and BTCMap. I think they all are using the same date to update. I did a manual add because I’m not a Square merchant but use CashApp to accept bitcoin payments.
