Christianity is the best religion for poor people actually. I lived in Taiwan for over ten years and go back to visit every so often. Lots of rich people with mistresses and ill-gotten gain just donate money to the temples and get their names on a plaque to display at the temple. This very famous Buddhist nun who had her own TV channel took a huge donation from an infamous gangster and when he died she led the procession at his funeral. Christianity is the only religion where all are equal in the sight of God.
As for Christians who continue to sin, yes you are right. I still sin. I’m not perfect. I’m working towards perfection but I haven’t yet achieved it. There’s a difference between someone who is trying not to sin and someone who willfully sins thinking they have a black check. It doesn’t work that way. But God is patient. He doesn’t zap us dead as soon as we sin because he is giving us time to repent.

Think of it this way- you stand before a judge for the crime of theft. If he just says, “OK, you’re free to go, I forgive you,” then the person who you stole from would think it’s totally not fair. They would expect you to be punished. But if the judge said, “Since you are very sorry for what you did and since you are unable to repay what you stole, I will pay the victim from my own money,” then you have been shown mercy and the victim has been made whole.
The Bible says that “the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life.” Jesus paid the price on our behalf. Belief in God is just our way of accepting the gift.

There was a white squirrel I used to see while delivering mail. I used to look forward to that part of my route because I was hoping to see him. Then after a big hurricane I never saw him again. Maybe he got blown away. Mine wasn’t albino though. Just white which is also quite rare.

Maybe you’re right. It feels satisfying to have a belief that evil people on this earth who get away with murder, rape, and genocide will eventually be judged for their crimes. It would seem pretty hopeless to think that the victims of Jeffrey Epstein would never see justice served.
If I’m wrong all I did was live a life believing in a God who compels me to love my neighbor and to treat everyone the way I would want to be treated. If the non-believer is wrong they wasted their one shot at being adopted into God’s family as co-heirs to his kingdom.
All I’m doing is planting seeds. It is up to everyone to make their own decision. You are entitled to your opinion. God respects you enough to give you the freedom to choose. Have a nice day.

The thing is, we are part of a cosmic battle between a loving Father and a prideful defector who tried and failed at usurping God’s kingdom.
God is both a loving father and a just judge. He can’t allow the sins of people like Jeffrey Epstein, Stalin, or Mao Tsetung go unpunished. The evil one who rebelled against God’s rule knows this and is jealous that God made humans as his special creation and wants to drag all of humanity to the depths of hell where he knows he is headed.
Yet, even though all have sinned against God, he is a loving father and offers his free gift of forgiveness through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Jesus took the punishment we all deserve and the only requirement to receive forgiveness is faith in Christ.
So, yes, there is a punishment for sin but he also provided a path towards forgiveness. Our part in this is to decide which side in this cosmic battle do we want to be a part of. Do we want to join God’s family or side with the defector who wants to destroy humanity? The choice is ours.

Obviously if God is a just judge he has to punish evil doers- people like Jeffrey Epstein, Joseph Stalin, Mao Tsetung, etc. I personally want a God who will avenge the innocent child who was harmed.
Yet every single one of us has sinned in some way whether it be lying, cheating, or stealing. So if God still wants us in his family then there has to be room for mercy. So there’s a conundrum- God as judge demands justice but God as our father wants to show mercy because he loves us so much. Therefore, God took on the form of man to take the punishment we all deserved in order to meet the demand for justice, and he made it possible for us to receive mercy by simply accepting his free gift of eternal life through faith in Christ.
All other gods which are actually just fallen angels or demons masquerading as gods demand us to sacrifice, sometimes they even demand human sacrifice. Baal worshippers like Jeffery Epstein were cannibalistic demon worshippers. I suspect most world leaders start wars as a mass ritualistic blood sacrifice to their gods. Yet GOD MOST HIGH flipped this paradigm on its head and sacrificed himself for us.

On my first visit to Taiwan in 1995, I had an idea got a video game. It would basically be a race through the streets of Taipei. You could take any route you wanted and choose any vehicle, like driving a motor scooter or bus or car. But the key was that the entire city was mapped out in the video game. There could also be an explore mode where you just wander around sight seeing.

Another possibility is to buy old Airstreams in very bad condition and completely refurbish them. That way there’s still the airstream aesthetics but could be cheaper than building a tiny home from scratch.

The good artists are few and far between because society as a whole rewards the ugly art through the museum and grant system. “Artists” take a urinal and sign their name to it or they just take house paint and splash it on a canvas and they are awarded millions of dollars from the art establishment but a real artist who hones his craft to renaissance level skill struggles to find a buyer because the wealthy are told that the ugly art is actually the good art because it’s somehow meaningful. In my opinion, if you have to read an essay to understand why a piece of crap spray painted pink is good art then the “art” has failed as a piece of visual art. It should be understood simply by looking at it. That doesn’t mean that there can’t be a deeper meaning behind it but the visual aspect should be first and foremost.

Personally I just like the look of the airstreams but I think Tiny Homes on Wheels would be fine, too. As for the airstreams, my idea is to partner with people who already own airstreams but don’t really use them very often. They end up paying money to store them somewhere. I thought if they only use them a few weeks each year I could offer them the chance to make some money and avoid the storage cost by using them as an airbnb on my property. We would do some type of profit split when their RV is booked.

That doesn’t explain how some people can be considered evil if you can just say they evolved that way. You can’t blame anyone for doing horrific things if you say it’s because of the chemicals and synapses in their head caused by evolution. Or you could just say evolution is evil.

I just thought it would be an easier way to start by first selling here, but if successful then later branch out to other locations. My idea was to ship a bunch to myself and then repackage them individually when I get orders. The other option would be to ship straight from Taiwan to whoever orders but it seems more logistically challenging. But it is something I can look into.

Help me out with an idea.
I keep trying to rack my brain for online business ideas. Something I could sell for Bitcoin. My eventual goal is to sell my paintings full time but I just don’t have much time and energy to paint very often because I have a regular job. So I need a business that I can build to where it covers my expenses enough that I can quit my regular job and have more free time to pursue my art.
I used to live in Taiwan and want to move back eventually. I really enjoy Taiwanese style tea. Traditional tea is loose leaf and there is a specific method for brewing it. I could find suppliers in Taiwan and could even create my own branding for it. I just don’t know if people would want to buy it or even if they would know how to brew it.
So, let me know if you think people in the US would be interested in this product.
Or does it make more sense to just try going straight to marketing my paintings.

Fortunately my paycheck deposited right in time for this Bitcoin plunge. Only problem is I have to pay my mortgage and a big credit card bill on Monday. I’ll just keep dollar cost averaging until Monday I guess. Then I’ll have to wait until my next paycheck. 😭

Apparently I haven’t been able to receive zaps lately although I’ve been able to send zaps. I checked my settings and switched my lightning address away from my primal one to a different one. Also I noticed that I had Alby connected somehow even though I don’t use Alby, so I removed that. Hopefully this fixes things.
