It was a good weekend. Finally with qater and food the backpack was more tgan 15 kg or 33 pounds or so... Had some problems adjusting it so it hurt my lower back when I strapped the front "belts?"

I've been wanting to go trekking/hiking/overnight camping for a long time, finally got some gear for it.
1.One sleeping bag, 5C/41F (comfort rating) , 1.2kg/2lbs /11 L volume packed. 2.One Backpack 50+10L for long weekend trips
3.One pair of trekking pants
4.Cooking set for camping + 2 dried meals and 2 dried soups for the road.
5.Already had the hammock.
I'll be sharing my brother's tarp, gas stove and water filter but I'll look for buying that in the future if the trip will be worth it and I'll be able to sleep comfortably in 7-9C temperature outside.
Will be bringing on some additional ski gear for layering although during the day it will be 16C+

Today I walked by some trees that had protection made out of new wooden boards near a construction site. I told my girlfriend that the priority in spending public money is puzzling... They don't build shelters for the homeless but they build protection for trees in Paris.
To which she replied : "this is the only leftist thing I've heard from you".
To which I replied : it's not about left and right but I prefer when they steal my money they prioritize well-being of people above trees...

Are you sure it's because of amethyst and not the memory optimisation of your Android phone? I noticed when amethyst starts the feed is empty and have the same message. But after refresh it works ok. So I'd assume at least in my case that I have too many opened apps and Android kills some of them and when that hapens to amethyst I see nothing in the feed.

I've started working out again this year had just the last 2 weeks a bit of slowdown due to easter travel. I'm 20% of my max force that I had 8 years, and I'm closing in to 40 yo. Feeling stronger and making faster progress than before. Wish you good luck in that, but stick to 3-5 trainings a week for now, optimise later

Thanks I'm not actively pursuing hunting with the bow it's more a fantasy survival skill I'm marginally decent at without practice. I saw rabbits at closer distance so I'd say I would probably take one in five from closer range as long as I manage to be stealth enough 😂

I asked #ChatGPT about #bitcoin issuance and inflation, got him to create this beautiful table. Took me 2 tries as he is insanely stupid in doing matrices calculation and when correcting one column he would screw up another and mess up the supply or halving dates. Going back to the formula and substitution with the number of blocks in the reward he finally managed to output something resembling the truth... So legitimate question not trolling ot anything : how are lightning "sats" in out wallet not IOUs for #Bitcoin? If the channels are setup between lightning nodes I'm assuming the sats in out wallet are part of the multisig channel "owned" by the wallet provider. Unless redeemed on-chain it's an IOU from the wallet maker. Am I incorrect in my assumption/understanding? I didn't dive deep into lightning, just the basics... #noob #noobQuestion
