The IDF and Israel don't realise it are these acts of deception, that they have conducted over many years, that made people stop believing anything they say.
The last few years, they had to admit over and over again that the information they provided was made up.
That they now have to admit that they used AI to show a killed journalist with a Hezbollah military uniform only shows that even they know that their actions are inhumane and indefensible.

You must admire the PR-person who came up with this statement:
'The AI system, called BK Assistant, compiles "FRIENDLINESS SCORES" at the fast-food chain's locations based on employees' conversations ..... BUT the technology is not designed to "evaluate individual employees".'
----
So we score you, but we do not evaluate you based on that score.
How does that work?

This article in The #Nation by #Flicker mentions the 10 #Denmark commandments to resist fascism in #WWII.
“10 Commandments for Danes”; simple moral instructions to stand against the #Nazis.
- Don’t work for the Nazis.
- Don’t shop in their stores.
- Don’t believe their propaganda.
- Protect those they persecute.
- You shall protect anyone chased by the Germans.
- Use the “Cold Shoulder" to bruise Nazi's frail egos.
They became a moral guide for ordinary people to resist.

That #Pixelfed is now in the Top 10 of most downloaded APPs in the USA, also means that we, as a Fediverse community, have to come together.
If you see a link somewhere, PLEASE support your PIXELFED server. Even when it is just with $2, $10 or $50.
Their operational costs are surely skyrocketing and we have to make sure that this does not become a Fediverse debacle but a Fediverse success story.

I have the impression that the OP is willing to pay for articles but does not want to pay for dozens of local sites that he only visits once in his lifetime.
I use archive.ph for such situations, but with archive.ph I feel that I am stealing from the authors.

I strongly disagree with stating that people are poor because of the comparison with the rich.
Unhappiness comes largely from our obsession with comparing ourselves with other people.
Whether I am poor or not should depend on whether I can meet my family's daily requirements; it should not depend on how much my neighbour owns.
This focus on wanting to have at least as much as the other destroys the world—a never-ending cycle of more, more, more.

The definition of wealth varies. To me, somebody who doesn't have to live from paycheck to paycheck and can afford a house and family expenses is wealthy.
Under my definition, more people could be wealthy if they kept their expenses down.
Wealth, to me, is not how much you own but how much freedom you have with what you earn.

Wasn't it Ford who said: my workers need to earn so much that they can afford to by my car?
