I'm afraid that we won't implement that. The files are intended to be internal and are named in a way that it'll never create issues with the operating system (i.e. Android). See for example:

Was genau mit den drei ??? ist, weiß ich nicht. Man kann mit einem Web-Browser auf illegale Internetseiten gehen. Dadurch wird aber nicht der Web-Browser illegal. Gleiches gilt für Podcatcher

Viele Podcasts, die vom öffentlichen Rundfunk produziert werden, werden über den Rundfunkbeitrag finanziert. Sie sind damit in AntennaPod (oder z.B. in der WDR-Mediathek) kostenlos und werbefrei. Die gleichen Podcasts sind auf kommerziellen Plattformen aber oft von Werbung umgeben, obwohl die Plattform nichts zur Produktion des Podcasts beigetragen hat

Das bedeutet: Die AntennaPod-App ist kostenlos und werbefrei in den Sinne, dass sie (im Gegensatz zu kommerziellen Plattformen) keine Werbung in (oder zwischen) Podcasts einbaut, sondern sie so abspielt wie von den Machern der Podcasts bereitgestellt.

Eine Website kann Werbung anzeigen, genauso wie ein Podcast Werbung enthalten kann. AntennaPod spielt Podcasts exakt so ab, wie sie von den Machern des Podcasts bereitgestellt werden. Im Gegensatz dazu spielt z.B. Spotify die Podcasts nicht exakt so ab, sondern baut zusätzliche Werbung ein (oder verlangt Geld). Podcasts auf Spotify zu hören ist dadurch ähnlich als würde man einen Web-Browser benutzen, der (zusätzliche) Werbung in Websites einbaut.

Podcasts sind in der Regel frei und kostenlos im Internet verfügbar, genauso wie normale Internetseiten. Um eine Internetseite anzuschauen, benutzt man einen Web-Browser (z.B. Firefox oder Chrome). Um Podcasts anzuhören, benutzt man einen Podcatcher (z.B. AntennaPod oder Apple Podcasts).

This is what the queue is designed for. There you can even reorder the episodes that you plan to listen to, and they play top to bottom. Of course, if the downloads screen works better for you, that is perfectly fine :)
