So to be honest, I think I agree with what you’re saying here and it’s what I kind of expect. Primarily/at least in the United States. But that doesn’t change Bitcoin’s properties and different jurisdictions could have different ways of using it and will have different laws.

That being said, assuming you’re right, wouldn’t you agree it would still be smart to own a decent amount of it at least though ? I told you my primary goals. So for someone like me and my generation, why not keep some cash, own Bitcoin, and own some gold too maybe. Just trying to keep things practical for me instead of believing I will change the world.

When you say “controlled” I’m not entirely sure the exact way you mean the word. Other people are making it sound like there are puppet masters *literally* controlling Bitcoin but that’s not how it works. Do you mean influenced? Or controlled in the sense that Bitcoin’s popular use-cases will likely follow how the big players decide to use it? Even then, on the global level, people can still use it how they’d like and I think it’s a smart asset to own and self-custody.
