theres clearly demand for Bitcoin exposure via ETFs etc. sure maybe those function similar to the gold markets as a hedge against inflation.
Which is fine and all
but none of that "adoption" has anything to do with Bitcoin as freedom money.

In the meantime, the assholes who run the banks need more assets to rehypothecate so they can keep the grift going. Bitcoin is perfect for them, another meme most people don't really understand they can sell as a "hedge".

So I don't understand the confidence of people who say "this was always the plan. freedom money is inevitable" It doesn't square up in any way I can see.
Doesn't BTC just end up a controlled asset like gold?
Ie, something many people *supposedly own but nobody actually takes custody of?
Gold is "hard money" (Monero is harder but I digress) and it doesn't matter AT ALL to the greater financial space.
How is Bitcoin going to end up differently?
