Pyrography art of a smol tree from 2018 on a home-prepped slice of oak wood.
This is another one of those oak slices with the natural star in the centre, hence the gap in the tree’s trunk. The star might be a bit easier to see in this photo than my earlier art with the ocean wave.
I took these two with me on an epic trip around the USA. I believe this photo was taken at the beach at Crescent City, CA, not long after a wonderful trip into the redwoods at Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park.
