As for Jean-François Mezei (npub1mz3…arka) 's claim that the #CPC is aligned with MAGA, I disagree. There are many things making MAGA different from Republicans of the 2008:
* Protectionist
* Hostile to allies; friendly to dictators
* Doesn't care about debts or deficits
* Scorn for rule of law
* A leadership cult around Pres. Trump
I think those are changes for the worse in the Rs, and I'm glad the #CPC opposes them all.
