Lost my purple verification checkmark recently because Minibits (nprofile…m76u) unfortunately phased out their NIP-05 mapping directory to focus purely on Cashu/Ecash. Zaps were still landing perfectly, but the missing badge was bugging me!
Dug into an old account and mapped my personal npub to an Rizful.com (nprofile…fhc5) address instead. Back to being verified, and zero downtime for my personal profile.
Ultimate long-term goal is hosting my own nostr.json file on my domain (simon-consulting.nl) to be 100% sovereign, but this quick fix does the trick for now! 🤙
