Indexing blocklists of instances in one place considered harmful. Having a searchable database where you can look at deliberately wrong moderation decisions is bad for these people, because it holds them more accountable. You would have to look through the instances all manually to hold them accountable without it. Picrel.

Likely, but after looking at her alt once and how she got into arguments with Gargron over moderation, I think there's more to that. And the "more" is control.
