Fedora, in my opinion, would be the most user-friendly distro.
But at the moment, I'm trying to find more distros outside Us Jurisdiction, which adds to the complication. I agree with Brodie Robertson (npub1ns5…ah7f) easement that NixOS that if you're going in blind, it will be "something else". Still, there are not many non-US distros to pick from, and so I am working on making it super user-friendly.
For example, a lot of documents for many Linux distros tell you to disable secure boot (Fedora, you can keep that enabled). But they all assume you know how to do that (disable secure boot).
