Oh, sorry, you can hide your network (follows/following) but not post count. And yes if you turn on "hide social media counters", you lose all social media counters. All of them. Your post count is visible via the API regardless, it's how every other instance knows how many posts you've made. I'm a little confused as to what you think the issue is.

You don't want to see your own post count because it causes you an existential crisis?
