Not quite: they’ve been charged with relatively minor offences which would normally be dealt with in a lower (magistrates) court. However they’re being held in conditions which would normally be reserved for people charged with terrorism or offences of similar gravity.
Britain has not yet stooped *quite* as low as Israel.
