My case is not unique. I am one of the people that just took longer to silence and disenfranchise than the others. It is a fairly common threat model across most of the world. If it’s a bad idea for me it’s actually a bad idea for everyone, and a LN address resolving on the public Internet creates an unacceptable side channel for state influence. Bitcoin addresses are public keys. Why shouldn’t reusable Lightning addresses be the same?
