not sure if it’s state-wide but CSFD is going to start using color coded action-oriented alerts called “Ready Set Go”. Green “Ready” level = create a go bag and evacuation plan, sign up for alerts. Yellow “Set” level = load the go bag, food, and water in the car. And red “Go” level = evacuate now. People need concrete actionable steps for effective disaster preparedness, and I think this is a really good public messaging approach.
