c#s gotten a lot better theres not much java-esque boilerplate now. non-vs tooling is a lot better now too, vsc integration is great, if u want to use cli+lsp u can too (although there are still a few rough edges). rider is still the best unfortunately though.

maui for android is still pretty bad. that much hasn't changed. u pretty much gotta use vs(c)/rider for that. if u use smth like avalonia or uno it's fine.
