I was just talking to an elderly lady who lives up the road from me
yesterday, she mentioned the state of the town and how very many
shops have closed, dept stores all shut down, nothing but crap in the
centre, not that is by any means a very big centre of town, and everything
away on the outskirts. Even within the shopping centre masses closed
down. We lived there for a while, my partner is from there too, and it is
eye popping just how swiftly it hit the shit. County lines drug gangs sniffing in from England now too, going after kids, and when we went down for the first time after lockdown my mouth hung open at all the closed down stuff.
There is not a cop to be seen and there are wankers and drunks making
a nuisance of themselves all round the streets at times, appalling.
