Lacking an understanding of “Logos” does in fact change the gospel.

The Logos is not “logic” or an “impersonal force” which the Pagans and the Latinizers think.

The Logos is a person, by whom all things in this world relate back to God. Christ is the person of the Logos taking on a human nature.

If Logos is just “logic,” “the word,” impersonal “objective” reality, then why not just keep "logic" and throw away God—

—which is exactly what the Enlightenment was all about!
