I agree with this.
There are concepts that are unavoidably obscured by translation, which is why faithful translations must come from the earliest and most complete available manuscripts in the language of origin, else they will tend to drift. This is why translations like “The message” are (rightly IMO) panned as unfaithful.
My point though is that lacking an understanding of the Nuance of the word λόγος in Greek thought in no way changes the gospel (εὐαγγέλιον).
