Look at the world. Most of it couldn’t care any less about international law, morality, or ‘fairness’
All of that are things we hold each other to, and make allowances for those not ‘developed enough’ to be ‘one of us’
There has been a lot of pompous vanity in Europe and the west in general for a long time, and it was always going to end. Eventually we will find our way through it and realign with those with the closest values ( where there is at least overlap of said values. )
Just as I knew we would eventually recognise the migration issues, and energy issues, so too will we recognise the rules we play by only work if all players follow said rules.
We are past that now. The sooner we course correct, the easier it will be, but either way, we will get there. ( Again, IMO )
