I'm not convinced that a change in US government will end the Cabinet of Horrors, unfortunately. Collapsing empires tend to get and stay ugly.

But, regardless, the trust is gone. They had no idea that their power was based upon trust. We preferred to purchase from them because we trusted them. We trusted them even more than each other. That has changed. Permanently.
