And, you’ve completely lost me here. LN is trash if this is your final answer. I am not in this to replace the Federal Reserve with Saylor and Blackrock and whatever quasi custodial, surveilled and censorable LN implementation (currently probably Spark, if it ever even gets reliable enough to use for people who are not nerd jerkoffs) they settle on. This is completely against the goal of Bitcoin, which, to my understanding, was to provide payments outside the control of the state. If your theoretical scenario of everyone on Bitcoin as a currency (not going to happen now that they refuse to address how people actually use money) ever occurred, unilateral exit would become for the ultra-rich only. Hell, the possibility for affordable unilateral exit is spotty *today*:

Add a billion people on LN? One, it won’t be functional at all, but two, international financial cartels will largely control anyone’s ability to exercise that option. It’s simple napkin math.
LN is anti-freedom, anti-Bitcoin if this is the final answer. Go back to the drawing board and come up with something else. For the record, for the time being, I support trying out drivechains, as nobody has shown me something that I can be convinced is better.
