When somebody sets out to make an "epic" movie, it does make me hope to get to enjoy some lovely craftsmanship at least, even if I don't love the finished product.
When this much time & money gets spent on a movie, I would like to believe that they are paying for artistry.
I'd like the costumes & sets to be visual feasts because at least that would mean that SOME artists got to go deep with their creativity.
