so basically you have
- poor people who actually need the service are being robbed to give it to whoever the state prioritized instead
- other people think everything is being handled because they are being robbed to fund services they don't need
- nobody realizes the programs are actually not that effective, until they need them
i've been told the swiss have similar issues. their social programs are actually significantly more competent than ours, but people exhibit that "someone else is taking care of it so why should i care" aura i was talking about.
