Hiking Lila Lake part 2. Like most trails here this one starts in a river valley and the foliage here is lush. Some bunchberry (Cornus canadensis), which is a species of dogwood that creeps in the ground instead of forming a tree. Vanilla leaf (Achlys triphylla) related to trillium.
