"content": "Here's another hiking thread with plants. Lila Lake isn't as well known as its neighbor Rachel Lake but it's scenic. Both are located 2 hours' drive East of Seattle in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area. Some parts of this wilderness are only accessible if you have a special permit (granted by lottery) to keep them from being overrun. But Lila Lake is in the cheap seats, no lottery needed, and on Monday I just got up and went.
