I stand amazed but you know what I'm even more amazed that the situation has gotten this bad and there's no end in sight. Teachers have never been less respected or more abused (not to mention the threat of violence and shootings) and standards have never been more confusing. The teachers are caught in the middle - of budget crises of culture wars of the lack of mental health treatments - and it's draining the talent pool and we're all going to be much poorer for it.
