Most of the magnesium supplements I've seen are bioavailable. That may be because I prefer health/vitamin stores that refuse to carry bad products.

If the body is deficient in magnesium, I'm not sure the body would see it as an excess amount, unless cell-to-cell communication is broken down, but that's a separate issue.

So, it seems like bioavailable magnesium is okay if the body is magnesium deficient, as long as proper hydration is maintained.

Water, as long as it's clean, seems to solve so much!
