i've been continuously pushing the unpopular opinion that you should always treat people like they're working a normal eight hours job. even if they're disabled or whatever. treating someone like a chore bitch isn't really a good idea for anyone involved.
usually people will go "oh well i'm paying the rent so i do whatever i want" and its like actually no that's not healthy. esp. because if/when that person DOES get a job—which is ostensibly what you want them to do—well. i've seen someone have a bad adjustment to just casually dictating chores and having to be told to fuck off there's a meeting in ten minutes.
