It’s easy to forget how quickly a problem can be solved or decision made with a two minute chat, instead of emails that sit in inboxes for days or weeks or longer. Or the benefits of good working relationships that come from looking at the person you’re speaking with, especially when asking them to do a difficult or unpleasant task.
