No, you're absolutely right. We have practically speaking one opposition group, the Dems, and they're incredibly useless. And proj 2025 doesn't end with Trump. But the ability to flout the law probably does end with Trump, because it's his cult of personality that keeps the GOP from opposing him. I'm kinda hoping he pisses off enough people they can impeach him? Or maybe just has a stroke. Honestly the future is too weird and variable to know what happens.
