i remember one of my first trips home to canada in 2011 after moving to the US. I was riding the bus back into Toronto from the airport (before there was a train!) and there was a sign for a newcomer settlement service (settlement.org I think!) that said “you belong here” and I just burst into tears. I remember it so distinctly a decade later ❤️🇨🇦😭
