how is that a "strange belief"??? it is just reality, the one with the weird belief is you if you think everyone should be just using a single server like gmail, etc.

if you use a single email server and it goes down, due to maintenance, DNS problems etc. you are done for, with the multi-relay support in chatmail apps you can use several email servers at the same time and reduce censorship and downtime dramatically
