Most of the development on Hurd comes from payed grants, once the money dries up, the development goes away. Like always.

Downloaded, latest "tested" Debian/Hurd ISO, created a VM, select "text install (mach console)" in GRUB, system panics, VM hard resets. Kill VM and start it up again, select the default graphical install, same panic.

Amazing quality. Can't even install it in text mode.
