In short: When reading reports of any kind one will immediately recognize misrepresentations or outright fabrications in the own field of expertise, even if presented confidently with eloquence. But outside the own expertise one is oblivious if presented the same way.
I keep being unimpressed by AI systems in my field of expertise.
