As per the source below:
"the ~2,200 trans people in federal custody will be medically and socially detransitioned against their will, all in the name of helping them “recover” from gender dysphoria.....Of course, the ‘justification’ here seems to be that these suicide risks can be avoided entirely if the person simply stops being trans, and therefore, forced detransition is a legitimate course of action."

They resign because the systems are so fundamentally broken and enables such egregious levels of corruption that it's way too much for one person to fight it and it's just easier to resign.
Having been in public safety before, I have witnessed firsthand as well as been on the receiving end of such egregious levels of corruption. The level of stress was severe enough to cause me PTSD.

Great news! #SCOTUS rejects Alex Jones' appeal of payment to the Sandy Hook families. Jones was ordered to pay $1.4 *billion* dollars after his repeated claims that the Sandy Hook school shooting was a #hoax.
Frankly speaking, I don't think $1.4B is enough of a punishment. These families experience unimaginable #pain, #suffering, #trauma, and #loss as their #children were viciously gunned down in school. They suffered again when Jones spread his #bullshit #lies for #profit. Not only has he made every attempt at nonpayment but he is playing the #victim card.

As a #medical professional and former #EMT this is gravely concerning. #Portland #ICE agents threatened to shoot and arrest #paramedics trying to leave the ICE facility with a patient. Agents intentionally stood in front of the #ambulance preventing departure. When the #paramedic put the ambulance in park and released the brake, it lurched forward an inch. Federal agents stormed the ambulance screaming at the crew. In addition to the verbal #threats, an unmarked state vehicle followed the ambulance to the #hospital.
ICE is now #aggressive to medical professionals. There is no going back once crossing this line. It's not a mistake and it's unforgivable. You don't fucking do this.
They have officially earned my wrath.
