Same situation as Tox in that it requires UDP transport.

There might not be a need for it, when I say I route everything through Tor and proxychains, I mean that I have dedicated network devices that do it for all of my traffic. And I’m not going to tear a hole in this meticulous privacy and safety setup for a single app.

Rust is a great language that unfortunately has become some sort of communist praxis for transsexuals. But that doesn’t change the fact that Solana, which is currently the most useful smart contracts platform, is in Rust. And that if your primary desire is to have the most security guarantees per byte of compiled code (pretty important in crypto!) Rust is the best in class. I have no idea why it became some sort of tranny fetish thing. It boggles the mind.

This is just ahistorical. The smartest most security conscious C programmers in the world, such as those in the OpenBSD project, who have no additional desires but to avoid memory corruption bugs and make it the sole major goal of their development process, still end up writing code with memory corruption bugs. Far less than most other operating systems written in C, but still enough to get you owned. If Theo DeRaadt, who is a much better C programmer in terms of security than perhaps anyone alive with maybe the singular exception of spender from the grsec project, cannot write a giant C project without security flaws, then you cannot either. Nobody can.
