Home ownership has never been that interesting to me except for the benefit of not having a landlord, but I'm starting to realize that I actually "own" something even more valuable than a house: I own a space for living things: plants, birds, beasts, & creepy crawlies, alike.

It's hard to find the time & energy (& know-how) to make proper use of that, but it's a personal goal for Spouse & I to use this little patch of land to help things live & grow.
