Environmental destruction is getting really bad, but it's almost shocking how many living creatures you can encourage just by creating a small area with the right conditions.

A lot of "personal responsibility" stuff is bunk. It's usually things you can do that *maybe* make the *tiniest* possible difference. Fostering the conditions for native plant & animal life though? I think if you have even a little land that you control, you may be surprised by the number of living things that show up.
