As for the second, why would people acts according to the wishes of people who think they "mind-numbingly stupid" if they disagree? At the very least, considering the results of the elections and the reactions of people in this thread, you can clearly see it is a losing strategy. Less people voted than before not more. I think it is a clear form of entitlement.

As a finishing word, if I may be blunt, blaming other people for your team's defeat years after the facts is disappointing. Vote-enthusiasts love to tell me you can vote and do something else.
