Certainly a lot of options, if Airbus initiated a consortium (call it a co-op 🙂 ) , they'd obviously have some requirements suggestions, and would have to hash it out with whoever else wanted to sign up. They'd have to limit the scope while keeping it interesting enough so they got enough businesses and govt. organisations to sign up. My point is, if there are no suitable providers outside the US, the Europe has the resources to build.

A new European consortium to create a new cloud-provider seems like a no-brainer. Would take time, but should garner broad support (both govt and private) if done properly. Airbus should just start taking sign-ups, set a deadline like 9 months) and start planning with whoever has signed up at that point. The aim of Steve Bannon is to dismantle US democracy, to let the chips fall where they may. For left-leaning voters to abdicate all effort is speed-running Bannon to his goal. I'ts not that non-voters enable him more, it's that honestly left-leaning have an interest in preserving democracy, so they should be reachable. Large swathes of MAGA are obviously not reachable. So, for preserving, and maybe in time improving democracy I go pleading where I have a faint hope of succeeding.
I don't thing anybody is owed a vote, I think it is *mind numbingly* stupid not to take advantage of that small help a vote can be.

A tangent here: Is it OK to report ppl for trolling if their only sin is lauding RFK Jr? I just blocked on my instance, but that seems insufficient. Theese quotes are speaking truth, sad to say. On a positive note, Norwegian FM is saying practically the same thing. Things are moving towards Netanyahu having to face a reckoning with the Israeli electorate and judicial system. That also goes for the settler movement and the extreme right in Israel. They are not making Israel safer. On the contrary, they are setting their state up for a perpetual war.
