Whatever garbage printer's output is can't be eligible for copyright in most countries either way because it wasn't printed by a person, and therefore there's no conflict with GPLv2, "provenance" doesn't matter when the code itself has no copyright attached to it either, the four freedoms are still there with such code and if it's a big deal you can study that code and re-implement it.
You'd have a better argument if you simply said the code is trash and no responsible project would allow it in their codebase, but so is many code written by real people and nothing's done about it.
