I don't care much that the app uses gtk... However, being able to controbute to OSM in the app (adding or updating POIs) would be very appreciated. I really on this extensively on Android so I can contribute quickly, while visiting a place.
At the very least, support for adding POIs to favorites with a detailed text for later contribution, but this is way less efficient.
