Some part of me says not to say anything, but are we just going to keep having moments where the rest of us tamp down our excitement & enjoyment just because she's not sure how to participate or if she even wants to? Are we going to spend our lives just trying not to get caught having fun because she will feel a certain way about it?
I don't think I can avoid addressing it forever.
