I hope your interpretation is correct, or else we will see large companies using one-sided contracts to gain control of peoples likenesses. As Cory Doctorow (npub1fdr…lvhs) has noted, giving people more rights under copyright is like giving your child more lunch money. The bullies will just relieve them of it at the school gate.
