having managed projects within the last 12 months, I'd say it is the easiest language to get something online. But the language easily lends itself to a lot of bad practices. These bad practices are very much akin to what exists in the JSP world as well. The language has not gracefully evolved. Hack is a good attempt that came out of Facebook and I've been told Slack backend is built on it. But it is still an unwieldy language & ecosystem.
